True Crime is Blind - A new Netflix dating show
You love dating shows!
You love true crime documentaries!
Finally, the show that unites both, coming soon to Netflix “True Crime is Blind”!
Jenny (24, sales executive / inspirational speaker) is single and looking for love, so we’re sequestering her in one of our famous booths where she’ll date, sight unseen, through our pod wall, ten eligible bachelors.
Here’s the twist - she won’t know if she's chatting to her future husband or a suspected serial killer!
Is he a murderer or unlucky in love? Can she save him from being single or...from the electric chair? Is he broken or “broken” broken?
Is True Crime Really Blind?
We’ll meet Chad (realtor, 24). Did an ex that cheated cause him to break multiple hearts OR multiple laws? Is he too good to be true?
“I’m here to meet a good woman and not some whore like the birth mother that abandoned me. Falling in love with someone’s voice may sound crazy but the voices in my head have never let me down before!”
Chad and Jenny have chemistry, but is he her type on paper or someone she's read about in the papers?
“I felt a real attraction to Chad. When he threatened to slit my throat if he heard I was talking to anyone else in the pods, I knew he felt the same way! Plus, he says he’s ready for commitment! He mentioned 20 years to life already.”
Watch Jenny try to figure out if the guy behind the wall is *her* person or just *a* person…of interest…
“So, Chad, I want to get to know you. Tell me about your hobbies - what do you like to do on weekends? Say on a Saturday night? Between 8-9pm? On November 8th of last year in the Richmond area?”
Or how about Tom? A 32-year IT expert, unlucky in love OR extremely lucky…with the law?
“So, I knew Tom was special because like me he enjoys long walks on the Yorkshire Moors, digging in his garden and hates nosy neighbours. He’s had bad luck with women before, but I can definitely change that! And we share similar values - I hate all other women too!”
“Hi Tom, so I know part of the experiment is not knowing what each other look like, but out of curiosity…how tall are you? Would you describe yourself as being of medium height for example? Slight build? Caucasian? Do you have a limp? Possibly left-handed?”
“Well, let me just say this…If you pick me, I promise you - you will NOT die alone.”
“Awww, that’s cute.”
Has Jenny found the one she’s been looking for OR the one the police are trying to find?
Is Ben (32, trainee dentist) going to make her heart skip a beat or just stop entirely?
“So, hi Jenny! My type is pretty, brown hair, parted in the middle and ideally with some physical handicap that slows them down.”
“That’s awesome, I love that for you!”
Can Jenny trust that our lady killers are truly on the prowl for Miss Right?
“I’m looking for someone who is happy to talk about their feelings and open to a long-term relationship with no games.” John (31, bus driver).
“Absolute chills - John sounds like a psychopath. My gut instinct is never wrong.”
Love may be blind but so is justice. And ladies, be honest - there’s nobody hotter than a moderately attractive serial killer!
